WebSep 19, 2024 · Xplane 12 SkyBox looks awful. Not a patch on MSFS which had excellent 3D volumetric clouds from the off. I do own Xplane 11 but will not get 12 until it's out of EA with much improved Skybox. I don't know if they've been improved, but there used to be a lot of complaints about MSFS clouds, especially how grainy they were.

It will still be present but I have only noticed it up really close. You can also turn on transparency anti aliasing and it seems to eliminate it.
