WebbLooks aside, the Ibanez Artcore AS73 is a great affordable-range instrument in both tone and playability. Its build is pretty nonstandard, with a nyatoh neck and linden body, woods I’ve only seen in a couple other models, but it manages to sound pretty good despite this. Most of the pleasure listening was coming from the actual playing and music, notes chosen, taste, chords, etc. I did not care much about the fact he was only playing a 500$ guitar.
